Here is a close-up of the face showing the stippling of paint to create the effects of the freckles or nevus on the chicks. It is created from a diluted mixture of burnt siena ink and acrylics (Mink Tan, Arte Deco) by stabbing manner and blended again with water. This technique is still new to me so I need more practice.
